Inline mixer based on pipe "T" details:

Here is your basic, most common configuration for an "Alfred Mixer." This is the basic Dedell Power Mixer and it is configured like most simple power mixers. Typical uses for this burner are for pottery kilns, glass furnaces, forges, raku kilns, and glory holes.

This method uses a pipe "T" as the hub for the mixer. The gas flow is at right angles with the flow of the air, but the simple street el and orifice direct the gas inline with the flow of the air.
